24-Hour Medical Staffing Services, LLC is hiring an experienced RN Oncology to join our growing team of healthcare professionals.
JOB OVERVIEW:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift Length: 5x8 Hour, 40 hours a week
- Shift: 08:00 – 05:00
- Pay: $62 per hour
- Type of Assignment: Masterbooking
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Work Location: Los Angeles, California
Description:
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in outpatient chemo
- Flexibility with using two EMRs (Aria and Cerner) to provide care for patients
- Proficient in peripheral IV placement
- Complete the intake for patients actively receiving radiation treatments, follow ups, consults, and re-evaluations, then providing proficient report to practitioners
- Consent patients for CT/ radiation treatment using iMed consent and placing PIVs, when needed
- Assist with setting up pelvic exams/ Head & Neck scopes
- Provide patient education on side effects of radiation therapy
- Obtain/ follow up on obtaining records for patients as requested by practitioners
- Required Certs: CA License, ACLS, BLS, Chemo Certified
