24-Hour Medical Staffing Services, LLC is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery to join our growing team of healthcare professionals.
JOB OVERVIEW:
- Start Date: 9/16/2024
- Shift Length: 3x12 Hour, 36 hours a week
- Shift: 07:00 - 19:30
- Pay: $3,250 per week in taxable pay and tax-free allowance if eligible
- Type of Assignment: Contract
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Work Location: Stockton, California
Description:
- Minimum of 2-year recent LD experience in an acute care hospital
- Must have travel experience
- Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends per 4 weeks
- Holiday: Will work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years)
- EMR: Cerner, fetal link, McRoberts mychild for infant
- Floating: Post partum--float first; will float to NICU as well
- Vents: "Available for moms and babies, but they are transferred to higher level of care if needed
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: High risk OB w/ multiple co-morbidities; multiple births; no neonatal surgeries completed at this facility
- Additional Notes: Baby friendly, first hour skin to skin important; NICU nurse will attend all high-risk deliveries with an RT; need to understand the documentation and care for the perinatal initiatives; have a large volume of surrogates and multiples--must be comfortable with
- Required Certs: Valid License in the state of California, ACLS, BLS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, NRP, COVID Vaccine Required
